Wellness Vaccination Programs
Our wellness and vaccination programs are designed to prevent disease and prolong the lives of your companion animals. Disease prevention is always less costly than dealing with the treatment of a disease once your pet has developed it. An example would be the treatment of parvovirus. Parvovirus treatment can frequently cost $1,000 or more while a single parvovirus vaccination will usually cost less than $100.
Early diagnosis of a disease process can lead your pet to a longer healthier life. Kidney disease, if diagnosed early, will allow us to modify your dog or cat's diet and in some cases add supplements to their diet to potentially extend their lives. There are many other conditions to which an early diagnosis is advantageous.
Our puppy wellness program is designed to offer your new puppy all the benefits of veterinary services available to him / or her from 6 weeks of age to 16 weeks of age. Included in this service, is a series of examinations, vaccinations, parasite screening and preventions.
Our kitten wellness program is designed to offer your new kitten all the benefits of veterinary services available to him / her from 9 weeks of age to 15 weeks of age. Included in this service, is a series of examinations, vaccinations, parasite screening and preventions.
Our annual checkups include a thorough physical examination, parasite screen, heartworm and tick-borne disease test and update vaccinations.
We recommend starting senior wellness bloodwork around 6 years of age for our canines and felines. The wellness profile includes a comprehensive complete blood count, chemistry profile, urinalysis, heartworm and tick-borne disease test and an intestinal parasite screen. Our wellness and vaccination programs are designed to prevent disease and prolong the lives of your companion animals.
Our knowledgeable staff and our facilities allow us to deal with a variety of medical conditions your pet may experience. In some cases, your pet may require additional hospitalization needs and further diagnostics.

Laser therapy is an FDA approved therapeutic treatment that manages pain, inflammation and antimicrobial effect helping with internal or external wounds, injuries and arthritis.

Pain Management and Control
We know the issue of pain management is of great concern to pet owners today. As in human medicine, we have a variety of medications available to manage our pet's pain both before and after surgery and in the event of trauma. We would be pleased to discuss the options available to you and your pet under any of the above circumstances.
We have facilities to provide your pet with a comfortable stay while you are away. We will feed any specialized or prescriptive diets that may be required as well as any medication the animals may need. All pets' vaccines must be up to date prior to boarding.
We have two grassy, fenced- in yards and three pea rock yards for our dogs during their stay and a quiet room with 4 large cat condos to meet our feline needs.
We offer enrichment for your pet while they stay which includes; extra time lounging in the sun, cooling off in the pool, jumping on the play equipment or just extra "TLC". We also send videos and pictures to update you on how your pet is doing!
You will have the added benefit of knowing that if your animal experiences any illness while you're away, it will be promptly and competently addressed by one of our veterinarians. For a tour of our boarding facilities, please feel free to drop by anytime.
We also offer in-house grooming Monday through Thursday from Mrs. Carol Dent. Please call for an appointment.
Microchip Pet Identification
Microchipping has become a very popular and safe way to permanently identify your pet and you as the owner in the unfortunate case that your pet is lost. Microchipping involves placement of a small electronic chip the size and shape of a piece of rice just under the skin in the neck area. A needle is used to inject the chip. The injection is comparable to a regular vaccine injection.
If your pet becomes lost and is transported to a humane society, the humane society will be able to scan your pet for the chip and contact you. The scanner is similar to a scanner found in the grocery store.
We advise you to use this system of identification as well as a collar identification system on your pet.
